Our Technology

Picasso Soft Tissue Laser Treatments

At Radiant Smiles we use the latest laser technology, a Picasso Diode Laser to ensure that soft-tissue procedures are fast and pain-free. From cosmetic procedures to reduce gum tissue to controlling bleeding so that we can get better impressions for bridges and crowns, this new tool helps us provide you with care that is pain free and less likely to require anesthetic.

The laser provides for precision cutting of gum tissue with less trauma and bleeding at the treated site, thus improving healing and promoting faster recovery time for you.

To treat periodontal disease, Diode laser can be used for the removal of diseased, infected, inflamed and necrotic soft tissue in the periodontal pocket to improve periodontal health. We also use this laser for a number of soft tissue applications such as:

With our latest KODAK Intraoral Radiography technology we are proud to offer our valued patients with high-quality Digital X-rays. The advantages of Digital X-rays for our dental patients include the following:

Logicon Cavity Detector

At Radiant Smiles, we emphasize on Preventive Dentistry in order to provide excellent Oral Health. We proudly utilize LOGICON Cavity Detector Software with KODAK intraoral digital X-ray Radiography systems to help us identify non-visible cavities early on.

• LOGICON is dental software made by Carestream Dental that is clinically proven to help dentists find 20% more interproximal cavities than possible with traditional methods.
• LOGICON Caries Detector Software™ is a unique powerful computer-aided diagnostic (CAD) tool that assists a dentist in the difficult task of diagnosing x-rays for cavities in between the teeth.
• LOGICON Software takes image features and compares them with a database of known cavity problems. In doing so, the software automatically highlights possible problem areas in a patient's digital dental x-rays, signaling to the dentist to take a closer look at the tooth involved. This software color-codes the cavities for easier viewing and it also indicates the penetration depth of cavities.
